Unix Operations Assistant is, within the scope of our storage and backup solutions, responsible for:

 

1 -Technical follow-up of the KIR (Keep It Running) activities on a day-to-day basis

2 -Follow-up of incidents

2. Activities

1 *Technical follow-up of the KIR storage and backup activities, on a day-to-day basis

  • Validate Infrastructure Change requests made to KIR teams;
  • Follow-up the execution of Changes;
  • Escalate to management non-standard demands;
  • Liaise with the Change and Planning team;
  • Liaise with the suppliers: contracts execution day-to-day follow-up, KPI's realization.
  • Production of dashboards.

2 *Follow-up of storage and backup incidents

  • Make sure incidents are solved within defined service level;
  • Act as crisis manager in case of major incident, including communication with the impacted department managers;
  • Ensure the right process is followed (incident registration, communication, ..)
  • Liaise with suppliers in case of problem;
  • Escalate any deviation to his management.

  • University degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems or other technical fields.

For an important client of mine, I am looking for a Jr Project Manager with deep technical background in Application Development

The Senior Project Managers lead projects on large multi-tier, multi-stakeholder engagements. Their key responsibilities include development of statements of work, development of detailed work schedules, team management, work package and deliverables management, coordination and management of client reviews and approvals, vendor and subcontractor management, coordination with global delivery centres, issue and risk management, budget/contract management, executive reporting. My client relies on their Senior Project Managers to contribute to project management practices and mentor more junior project managers.

Required Work Experience

General Experience:

- Minimum of 10 years of general IT experience
- Minimum of 5-8 years of project management experience.
- Project Initiation experience – Development of budgets, statements or work, resource plans, and work plans for more than one project of a level 3 complexity.
- The team and customer are co-located with the customer team in a JAD type room. This requires documented detail to facilitate development by a portion of the development team off shore.
- Experience in a management and/or project management role in Telecom.

Required Level of Education:

- PMP certification is highly desirable

Role Summary:

Lead the development, planning and realization of key IT related projects for EMEA.   

Key Responsibilities:

This is a regional role with responsibility for Europe, Middle East and Africa. The position reports to the IT Director EMEA.
Typically projects are realized using multiple internal and external sourcing and delivery channels. You will work closely together with varying levels of business representatives, process champions and key users, IT specialists, external software and IT solution providers.

Education and Experience: (minimum required)
   
• Four Year University  degree with a minimum of 8 years specific experience in the areas of Information Technology, Business Process Engineering and Project Management. MBA or equivalent is desirable.
• Project execution in large multi-national organizations.
• Demonstrated understanding of and, successful configuration, implementation and support of ERP systems in a multi-national multi-site environment.

4. Project Manager Supply Chain Improvement (m/f) Permanent Antwerp + Details

In this position you will report to the Director Supply Chain, Europe and your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordination of projects and activities of the European Supply Chain Team.
  • Studying, developing and implementing European-wide supply chain projects and systems, in close cooperation with Marketing and Sales, Information Systems, Business Planning and Customer Service.
  • Act as a primary interface between Sales, Distribution and Supply Chain focusing on Customer Integration initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects whith respect to optimization of service levels, lead time reduction, information flow improvement and reduction of logistics cost across the supply chain.
  • Guide the selection, development and delivery of logistics systems initiatives such as WMS, VMI, and ERP systems.
  • Lead the implemention of Lean Logistics principles.
  • Provide guidance, leadership and support to Plant Warehouses with efforts to implement logistics process improvement and warehouse management system implementations.
  • Provide guidance, leadership and support to anticipated European ERP design and implementation.

 

Frequent travel will be required.

 

Required knowledge, skills, education and experience:

  • Ability to understand issues on a corporate-wide basis is critical to deploying strategic initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, personal integrity, compliance with corporate ethics, strategic thinking.
  • Proven ability to facilitate discussions and influence decision making with mid and senior management.
  • Structured project management skills with the ability to direct and effectively participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Masters degree with a progressive professional experience within Supply Chain and team management
  • Acquintance with information systems (BPCS, Dispatcher, EDI and related Ecom tools) and information flow
  • Current knowledge of supply chain management techniques
  • Practical experience in physical distribution/warehousing and transport
  • Six Sigma green belt certification is a plus
