Junior Financial Controller

Our client is an European retail channel.

As a Junior Financial Controller you will:

• assist on the preparation of the management reporting from the different countries withing the group;
• support the preparation of the monthly consolidation, review and controlling of management reporting based on IFRS accounting principles;
• assist on the yearly consolidation and review of the financial plans from all countries;
• be responsible for the set-up of ad hoc reports on the performance of the company;
• be in contact with national finance departments within the group;
• set out, explain and ensure the requirements, deadlines and reporting needs;
• optimize the use of SAP as a reporting tool;
• provide support to the financial services organization of the group;
• coordinate paympent processing services;
• monitor contracts and processes with internal and external service companies;
• create and control statistics;
• be responsible for interbank payments;
• supervise the budget and communicate accordingly.

As a Junior Financial Controller you have:

• a bachelor degree in finance and accounting;
• some years of relevant work experience;
• good knowledge of SAP and MS Office;
• good knowledge of Dutch and English (knowledge of German is a plus);
• excellent analytical and reporting skills;
• the ability to organize and work accurately and independently;
• the ability to travel regularly to Germany.
