Java software engineer (hot job)

My client, situated in Antwerp is a fast-growing consultancy-company in a high-end environment. The projects are situated in Antwerp, Brussel, Mechelen, Ghent, Roeselare and Leuven.

- Gathering and analyzing customer business and technical requirements
- Develop software in the context of a focused project, while ensuring alignment to current and developing architecture
- Routinely deal with and resolve difficult technical issues
- Take responsibility for the quality of application deliverables
- Technical sales support including the implementation of software demonstrations

- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, and programming patterns
- 3-4 years experience developing in a core java environment
- Ability to provide innovative solutions to issues
- Proficiency in Java EE, JSP/Servlets, Java Frameworks (Struts, Spring, JUnit, and Hibernate), Java Performance tuning, SQL, XSL, XML, HTML,JavaScript)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and technical procedures.
- You are able to work and communicate well in a team environment.
- Ability to manage stress and work within established deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
