Claims Specialist - Insurance sector

What you'll do

• Act as the expert of a specific area in the value chain of the company (Contract Processing, A&S processing , Control Framework etc.)
• Processing of exceptional, complicated and non-standardised scenarios.
• Ownership, maintenance and evolution of Standard Operating Procedures
• Standardise & hand-over processes to specific teams
• Identify, design & promote changes to contribute to Continuous Improvement.
• Investigate, follow up and resolve issues that affect the company KPIs, KRIs & SLAs in collaboration with fellow team members, other departments of the company and third parties
• Identify, design and execute controls and KPIs that ensure that data are processed accurately and timely
• Manage operational risk and maintain controls within the post bind processes

Who we're looking for

• You are organized and have the ability to work to tight deadlines
• You have experience in the insurance sector
• You have 5 to 10 years of experience in the field
• You have experience in contract, premium and claims booking processes is mandatory
• You also have some experience in Credit Control / Aged Debt processes
• You can work under pressure and easily find solutions regarding immediate demands in order to deliver customer satisfactions
• You are independent in your work, however, easily build trusted relationships with internal and external partners
• You are fluent in English (written, spoken). Any other European language is a good plus
• You have good understanding of the risk, regulatory and compliance framework relating to the insurance/reinsurance industry.
